Research and innovation in polymeric compounds
Polymeric compounds, based on virgin or recycled raw materials, represent our main field of interest. Specifically the main activities are:
Chemical-physical characterization and quality consistency analysis of polymers, additives and fillers for special compounds
Flame retardant additives and fillers for compounds for cables, pipes, roofing, aluminum composite panels
Improvement of recycling of polyolefin waste for circular economy related to plastic industry
Technical support to formulate and to improve roofing membranes (TPO, PVC and bitumen)
Comparative tests and bench marketing of raw materials for flame retardant compounds
Industrialization support: production process development, problem solving and marketing
International networking support: companies collaborations, new markets and new possible applications for the products/ technologies
Start-up of R&D laboratory inside the companies by operating the instrumental selection and training of the technical staff
Training about Flame retardancy (properties, methods and materials) for technologists in the companies.
