ENVIRONMENTAL ACOUSTICS
Impact assessment and predictive relationship of acoustic climate
IPOOL Srl, thanks to its Competent Technicians in Acoustics, carries out acoustic impact assessments and acoustic climate forecasting reports to all companies, businesses or public establishments where machinery or noisy plants are installed.
Thanks to external control units equipped with class 1 certified instrumentation for frequency analysis, statistical analysis and detection for long periods of the equivalent continuous level, IPOOL S.r.l. it carries out monitoring activities with prolonged external and / or punctual measurements in an internal environment for the assessment of the exposure of the population to road, rail, industrial, airport and port noise, or to noise deriving from fixed point sources.
Long-term acoustic monitoring measurement of noise produced by wind farms.
The equipment available allows IPOOL S.r.l. to carry out long-term acoustic monitoring in accordance with the "Guidelines for the evaluation and monitoring of the acoustic impact of wind power plants" of the Higher Institute for Environmental Protection and Research (ISPRA).
Long-term acoustic monitoring measurement of noise produced by wind farms.
Railway noise
-
Short and long-term measurement campaign of the noise produced by the transit of trains in urban areas, with particular attention to specific sources (station noise, chirps, plant noise, whistles, etc.) on order of the Institute of Clinical Physiology of the CNR of Pisa;
-
Vibration and noise measurement campaign within the GREENRAIL project.
Long-term acoustic noise monitoring measure of railway noise.
Road Noise
-
Noise and traffic measurement campaign for the calibration of the strategic noise mapping of the Livorno agglomeration;
-
Noise and traffic measurement campaign for the calibration of the strategic noise mapping of the agglomeration of Bolzano;
-
Noise and traffic measurement campaign in the metropolitan city of Rome, for the purposes of the BEEP project;
-
Noise and traffic measurement campaign for the areas surrounding the port of Cagliari;
Measurement of acoustic monitoring of short (left) and long (right) duration of road noise.
Port noise
-
Measurement campaign and acoustic map of the port of Livorno, in collaboration with the Physics Department of the University of Pisa.
-
Noise and traffic measurement campaign for the port of Cagliari.
-
Noise measurement campaign and traffic surveys for the port of Portoferraio (LI)
Measurement of acoustic monitoring of short (left) and long (right) duration of port noise.
Airport noise
Noise measurement campaign produced by the "Galileo Galilei" airport of Pisa at the houses near the runway and subsequently at those where the exposed population is gradually transferred to assess the effects of noise on sleep and noise in general. These activities are carried out as part of the University Research Project (PRA 2015) under an existing contract assigned by the Integrated Inter-institutional Department of the University of Pisa.
